Meet the Experts Behind Webmaxformance
Combining unique skills and backgrounds to achieve a unified goal.
Igor Mateski
CEO and Founder
Interdisciplinary at heart, Igor started off doing WordPress builds, SEO, LPO, Copywriting and everything else that was needed as a Chief Everything Officer of a young digital agency. With academic background in Theology, Psychology, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics, he still struggles to pick a niche, so he decided that being a Generalist is an amazing competitive advantage in a world full of one-trick ponies. He sees holistic marketing as a way to maximize the reach and business impact of the Message that’s built to fit to the target Market. The rest is amplification. But, since the devil’s in the details, every moving part of the marketing tech stack contributes to a congruent, desirable message.
When not doing Marketing, Igor is a public speaker and panelist, supporting several NGOs with their activism in leadership development, business incubation, counseling, and art.
He’s married to Monika since 2008, and has a son, Tommy.
Monika Mateski
Co-Founder
Co-founder with Igor, Monika is with WebMaxFormance even before it had a name. With an academic background in theology and education, she’s been an integral part of the company in various roles. But she’s most passionate about aesthetics and processes. She does design and operations. Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, that’s the realm she mostly enjoys. She’s been instrumental in training an entire generation of designers and copywriters that did stints with WebMax, as we prepared them for careers as independent designers and copywriters.
When she’s not doing work, she is usually tending to a growing flower garden (at home and around the house), or reading LOTR or similar books. She’s also contributing her time to LeaderImpact with Igor, but also does work in a global movement Mothers in Prayer.
Aleksandar Petreski
Lead Web Developer
An electrical engineer, but a Kendo master, really. Aleksandar is in the world of WordPress for over 17 years now, and has spearheaded the WP Department for a very long time. As a team lead, he’s delivered some amazing work on various projects, spanning from startup sites to established ecommerce behemoths, and even .GOV builds.
When he’s not at the computer, Aleksandar spends his time training the next generation of young Kendo masters and goes to regional Kendo competitions. He’s also our living, walking jukebox with a guitar. No song he can’t play. Seriously. He loves the outdoors, and does some hunting too. He’s married and has 2 cool kids.
Antonio Angelovski
Web Developer
Antonio is a software engineer but also interdisciplinary at heart. He is mainly focused on the WordPress department, but swims just as easily in Design, Copywriting, Analytics, LPO, project documentation and so on. He’s one of those rare young guys… a man of few words but plenty of talents. He enjoys challenges, he loves jumping in to help in any way he can… and he can help in SOOO many ways.
When not on the computer, Antonio enjoys dipping his toes in his family’s agri-business, because not everything of importance is digital.
He lives and works from Skopje, the capital of Macedonia…until it gets ridiculously hot. Then he returns home to the rest of us in the beautiful Ohrid.
Nadica Shikoska Simidzioska
Online Marketing Executive
Nadica has a masters degree in Marketing, and is the ruler of the Paid Ads department. She joined our team while pregnant with her second child. FIred from her last post, with no employment opportunities as an expectant mother, what others saw as a problem, we saw an opportunity to employ and be supportive of this young lady. She’s fluent in Google Ads (aka PPC), she’s helped NGOs set up with Google Grants, but she’s also just as competent in SEO. Interdisciplinary like the rest of us, she also handles herself in WordPress and Copywriting, and she doesn’t shy away from Photoshop either.
When not crunching numbers, she’s either enjoying coffee at the Ohrid lake, or she’s actively contributing to a few citizens initiatives for promoting family life and family values. She’s a stubborn surviver of a stroke and a heart attack, and lives to tell her story whenever she can.
Stefan Kocovski
Project Manager
An electrical engineer with real passion in processes and wine, Stefan joined us after his previous employer closed shop for good. He brought 15 years of team management, a joy for life, and a completely different perspective on work.
He’s been with us for a long time, as a project manager, team leader, and over the years picked up passion (and skills) to do WordPress builds, PPC, copywriting, design, etc.
When he’s not doing digital work, Stefan is enjoying his small winery business. He’s done some amazing wines, and has the rewards to prove it. Passionate about wine, fun, friends, family, he’s our go-to guy when it comes to thinking up fun stuff to do.
Now that he has a winery, we also have a place to occupy whenever we want. Married with a teenage son, he lives in the most beautiful town in the world, Ohrid.
Mishela Gjosheva
Content Strategy + Copywriting
A linguist, ridiculously fluent in French, and wrapping up her Masters in Marketing, Mishela has been with us for years. She’s done work in Copywriting, on-site SEO, some PPC, and recently developed a passion for Fundraising. So she’s becoming a thought leader in NGO marketing.
When she’s not doing digital work, she’s actively involved in LeaderImpact, Mothers in Prayer, and also leads an NGO that works for promoting the quality of life for kids with special needs in Macedonia. She’s helped countles parents with guidance, resources, contacts to find solutions for all sorts of medical situations, mostly from autistic nature.
A mother of two, she lives with her husband in Skopje. But really loves to be in Ohrid.
James Morris
Business Developer
With an academic background in Computer and Information Technology, James is one of our geekiest geeks. From the early days of the internet, he has been a key player in many OSS forums. Known as one of the industry pioneers in SEO, James shares this legacy with notable figures like Doc Sheldon and Ammon Johns.
James brings a wealth of hands-on experience as a WPMU Support Superhero, a title that few in the world can claim. After over 20 years in WordPress development, server maintenance, and plugin development, he’s now shifting lanes with Igor to focus on Business Development.
Outside of his professional life, James was instrumental in driving Linux adoption at the State University’s regional campus and played a crucial role in Woodcraft Supply’s transition from a SCO UNIX system to a Microsoft RMS system nationwide.
James lives with his wife in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He’s easy to talk to but also has a “Get off my lawn” sign.
